EDITORS NOTES
Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner, lots of good food and family get-togethers are always a good thing to look forward to at this time of the year. Our family will be gathered at our table this year for Thanksgiving minus our son & daughter-in-law. We're all looking forward to turkey day!
We are already seeing Christmas decorations up and of course the stores are pushing sales for the holiday. We do have our few outdoor decorations up simply because the weather has been pretty good and wanted to do those before we start to see the “white stuff”. We got a new (artificial) tree this year and are hoping for a quick and easy set-up!! Cookie baking soon to start, gifts to wrap, cards to get ready to send and then the big day will be here and gone before we know it. Five grandchildren are ready for “Santa” to come and will be a fun time.
Motorcycles are parked for the most part, though we did see some brave riders today while we were out shopping. The days are getting colder and so heated clothing is “a good thing” this time of the year.
(Maybe that is on your Christmas list.) There are still gatherings of GWTA groups and we enjoy these times of friendship when it is cold. Winter is nature's way of telling you to test the electrics and do the
repairs that are needed before spring and riding starts again.
From the Peters house, we want to wish everyone a
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
